We are currently seeking enthusiastic and flexible Supply Primary Teachers to join our team and work across various primary schools in Huddersfield. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain diverse teaching experiences, with the flexibility to choose assignments that fit your schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver High-Quality Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, ensuring all students are supported and challenged
  • Adaptability: Quickly integrate into different school environments and adapt teaching styles to suit a variety of classroom settings
  • Classroom Management: Maintain discipline and a positive classroom atmosphere, promoting a safe and conducive learning environment
  • Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate and assess student's progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes
  • Collaboration: Work closely with school staff to ensure a smooth transition for students and continuity in their learning

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognised teaching qualification (we welcome ECT's)
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching in primary schools, ideally across multiple key stages
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in different schools and adapt to varying teaching environments
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Enhanced DBS Check: A current, enhanced DBS check registered with the DBS Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Stafflex
