The Person:
- Experienced in a Manufacturing environment.
- Must have supervisory experience.
- Leader / Motivated / Effective Communicator / Ambitious.
The Role:
- Planning and leading production activities across site.
- Working with the Leadership team to identify possible improvements in the process.
- Conduct weekly tasks and report progress, issues, and variations to build plan.
- Develop and organise workshop material flow process to improve efficiency (Lean Manufacturing).
- Select workshop and test equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance. Ensuring all test equipment is available and calibrated and assist in the maintenance of such records.
- Set the quality standards.
- Ensure that the production will be cost effective by estimating costs and negotiating and agreeing budgets with company stakeholders.
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
- Monitor productivity rates producing department KPI’s
- Identify training requirements.
- Inspire and coach members of staff.
This role is working Monday to Friday rotating shifts, some weekend work will be required every 4 weeks.
06:00am - 14:00pm / 14:00pm - 22:00pm
The salary will be between £40,000pa - £45,000pa (Dependant on skills & experience)
