A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage street furniture projects from initiation to completion, with a focus on parcel locker installations. The Project Manager will play a key role in the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with engineers, transport, and warehousing teams to achieve client objectives.

Job Description:

  • Lead project teams and work directly with clients to plan, execute, and deliver installations for parcel locker solutions.
  • Develop detailed project plans to achieve project objectives and ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Coordinate engineer & transport activities to ensure timely delivery of the programme.
  • Participate in weekly client meetings and provide regular project updates, including reporting on progress and potential risks.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
  • Maintain awareness of all aspects of the project and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during execution.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and client quotes.
  • Monitor project costs, ensuring they align with budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure timely billing and manage any billing disputes to maximise cash flow.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact project delivery.
  • Work closely with external partners (e.g., installation teams, vendors) to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate efforts between internal teams (warehouse, sales, finance) and external resources.
  • Provide leadership to project team members and ensure seamless delivery across all stages of the project.
  • Manage project aspects remotely or onsite, depending on travel requirements.
  • Ensure all projects comply with HSEQ management systems and promote a positive safety culture.
  • Participate in managing health and safety issues, ensuring all standards are met.
  • Identify future opportunities to generate additional business with existing clients.
  • Provide support on other assignments and internal projects as required.

Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing projects related to the and installation of street furniture solutions.
  • Experience using project management tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Sage, Oracle).
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset in identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong team leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to manage small teams and on site engineers to coordinate efforts across different departments.
  • Commercially astute with experience in client-facing roles, confident in building and maintaining relationships.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification (or equivalent), with demonstrable experience managing HSEQ requirements in projects.
  • Process-focused, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable evidence of delivering projects "right first time."
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Valid UK driving licence (clean).
