- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure procurement strategies align with company goals.
- Manage supplier performance to achieve quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and trends.
- Develop and implement efficient procurement policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular supplier audits.
- Oversee contract negotiations with suppliers.
Profile
A successful Buyer should have:
- Proven experience in a procurement role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- A strong understanding of supply chain processes and strategies.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary ranging from £34,000 to £39,000 per annum.
- An annual bonus of £2,000, with potential for more upon achieving KPIs.
