Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with a leading e-commerce business based in Huddersfield, currently on the lookout for a dynamic Junior Buyer to join their growing procurement team. As a Junior Buyer, you will support the procurement team in managing supplier relationships, sourcing high-quality products, and ensuring that the company continues to deliver exceptional value to its customers. This role is pivotal in maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence while driving cost efficiency and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to achieve the best pricing and terms.
• Manage purchase orders and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Monitor stock levels and liaise with the warehouse team to ensure timely delivery.
• Analyse market trends to identify new product opportunities and suppliers.
• Support senior team members in implementing procurement strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key Skills and Attributes:

• Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role (e-commerce experience is a plus).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with procurement software is advantageous.
