We're working with a Level 4 LPCB-accredited fire sprinkler installation company renowned for delivering high-quality, compliant fire protection systems. They are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team and contribute to innovative, safety-driven projects with a company specialising in cutting-edge fire protection systems.



Your Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of fire sprinkler system projects. This role offers a balanced combination of office-based tasks, remote work flexibility, and occasional site visits. Key Responsibilities

Cost Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, prepare accurate estimates, and monitor costs to maintain profitability.

Tender and Contract Management:

  • Review, negotiate, and manage contracts while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards and safeguarding company interests.

Project Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with design and project teams to align financial goals with specifications and ensure successful project delivery.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare final accounts to effectively close out projects.


What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Significant experience (10+ years) in quantity surveying, cost management, or construction-related roles.
  • Proficiency with financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

Desirable:

  • A degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Familiarity with BIM processes and their financial implications.
  • Experience managing multiple contracts across nationwide projects.


What You Will Receive

Salary: £40,000-£50,000 (dependent on experience, pro-rata for part-time).
Location: Huddersfield-based with flexible hybrid working.
Bonus: Performance-based bonuses awarded 2-3 times annually.
Holidays: 20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.
