The day-to-day responsibilities include estimating and preparing cost reports, assisting with tender processes, negotiating with contractors, reviewing valuations and payment applications, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget. Within this role, you will collaborate closely with the design team and site teams to drive project completion while maintaining strong client relationships and upholding commercial standards.

The Role:

Oversee subcontractor appointments and manage overall project costs
Handle valuations, variations, and commercial matters
Monitor budget compliance and provide accurate cost reports

The Person:

Quantity Surveyor or similar
Commutable to Huddersfield
Full UK license
Knowledge of RIBA and JCT contracts
