Due to continued growth, an established and specialist engineering firm, who design, manufacture, install and maintain their equipment around the UK, are now keen to appoint an experienced electrical panel builder.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Electrical Manager you will be required to:

• Build and assemble electrical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams.
• Assist with electrical work on the premises if required.
• Assist with site electrical installation work if required.
• Ensure tasks are carried out accurately and to a high standard.
• Ensure Health & Safety policies are adhered to.
• Ensure work schedules are met or report when not.
• Report incidents/near misses/accidents to the supervisor/manager.
• Ensure compliance with all Legislation, Codes of Practice, Standards, Regulations, Company Rules and Procedures including Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems.

ESSENTIAL TO APPLY

• Full clean driving licence (Max 3 points).
• Appropriate experience and/or qualifications.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematic diagrams.
• Able to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Attention to detail and able to work with precision.
• Effective organisation of production to meet required schedules.
• Ensuring acceptable levels of workmanship are achieved.
• Ensure product is made correctly and to required standards.
