Temporary Finance Assistant

Search Consultancy areseeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to be a part of a positive finance team in Huddersfield. This will be a temporary role for six months with an opportunity to go permanent. This will be a hybrid role working full time hours Monday to Friday (9:00am-17:00).
Key Responsibilities:
- Chase payments and raise invoices.
- Process credit notes and manage accounts receivable.
- Handle accounts payable and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a finance assistant or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
