Secondary School Exam Invigilators Needed - Ad-hoc Exam Cover from November Onwards

Looking for flexible, part-time work during the upcoming academic year? Stafflex Education is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our supply team as Exam Invigilators for ad-hoc exam cover in secondary schools across Huddersfield and Kirklees, starting this November 2024 to July 2025.

Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant / Support Worker / Invigilator qualification or equivalent preferred.
  • Recent experience invigilating secondary school examinations.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Good numeracy and literacy abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up exam venues according to strict procedures.
  • Ensure exam rules and regulations are followed and remain vigilant throughout the exam.
  • Assist students before, during, and after exams, addressing queries and ensuring compliance with examination protocols.
  • Supervise students to maintain a calm and quiet exam environment.
  • Escort students during comfort breaks and ensure no communication inside the exam venue.
  • Distribute and collect exam papers according to examination procedures.
  • Manage exam materials and equipment in line with official guidelines.
  • Ensure an orderly exit from the exam room once exams are completed.
