Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Huddersfield. Job Description: A Huddersfield school in the HD2 area are seeking an experienced HLTA to join their school on a long-term basis to provide support to pupils and staff, contributing to high standards and achievements. The role will involve supporting the teacher in behavioural management and in the delivery of lessons. You may also be required to plan and deliver your own classes due to unplanned absences. 1:1 work may be required at times. . Have experience supporting a teacher in and out of the classroom. . Be passionate about working towards raising standards of teaching. . Have experience dealing with behaviours and incidents in the classroom. . Have the ability to motivate and encourage pupils to achieve their potential. . Be able to effectively liaise with staff members and report incidents professionally. TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: · Hold Right to Work in the UK · Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application. · Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years.
