Position: Parts Advisor
Salary: up to 27K + bonus
A leading main car dealership in Huddersfield is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join their successful team. The Role
The Parts Advisor will play a key role in the parts department, providing high-quality customer service and assisting customers with the parts they need for their vehicles. This position requires strong product knowledge and excellent communication skills to support both customers and the service team. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the parts stock and ensuring all parts are available for service and repair work.
- Advising customers on the correct parts and accessories for their vehicles.
- Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensuring parts are accurately stored and cataloged.
- Maintaining accurate records of all parts transactions and inventory.
- Supporting the service department to ensure the smooth operation of the workshop.
- Processing customer orders and handling payments.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar role, ideally within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and the automotive sector.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage stock levels efficiently.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A full UK driving license is preferred.
