An exciting opportunity for experienced, caring, and committed Mental Health Support workers with an engaging approach who are keen to enhance their skills within the Mental Health secure transport services. The Mental Health Support Worker will have previous experience, it is not a requirement as full bespoke accredited training will be provided. The Mental Health Support Worker will be working with a team of experienced secure transport team, helping move patients to their hospital locations
OBJECTIVES OF ROLE
Transferring service users to various hospital locations
To provide support to service users with individual needs during hospital transfers
To work as part of a dedicated team to ensure high-quality standards are met
To maintain the safety and well-being of service users, colleagues inside the secure tansport
CRITERIA
- PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression)
- MAPA (Management of Actual or Potential Aggression training)
- MAV ( Managing Aggresssion & violence)
- 6 Months experience working in a similar support setting
- Experience in mental health support work desirable
- Enhanced DBS and updated Service
- Overseas police check if you have been in the country for less than 5 years
- Driver's Licence (Not essential)
