Support Worker

Must be medication administration trained and have experience working with compex needs.

Search Consultancy are working with a large provider of care for vulnerable service users with various support needs to source a number of experienced Support Workers in West Yorkshire. The emphasis of this job will be supporting young adults in their daily activities and caring for them. You will be actively interacting with the service users and taking part in supporting them with their daily life. It is essential you have previous experience working within care.Working day shifts throughout the week, you will be expected to:- Provide a residential service for vulnerable service users- Follow care plans for the residents and engage with them- Administer care, including personal hygiene- Ensure the well-being of residents, adhering to CQC care standards- De-escalate challenging situations- Take part in daily activitiesSearch are particularly interested to hear from applicants who:- Have at least 6 months UK based experience in care to vulnerable young adults, in either a residential or supported living setting, and are able to provide up to date and satisfactory references

- Must be able to work some Saturday's and Sunday's. - Have completed and are willing to take further training in moving and handling, first aid and basic health and safety.

- Car drivers preferred but not essential

- Must be happy to provide personal care

- Must provide 5 years references - Essential
