The role is to start immediately. For this role you must: Have experience working with SEN students (ASD is preferred) Have worked with pupils before within groups. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a Youth Worker with secondary age students Have experience working with small groups of students Experiece working with ASD students and is comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience working in a school - (Ideal) Previous Primary/SEN education experience (preferred) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided) CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Huddersfield Position Youth Worker Start date ASAP Duration / Likely Duration Ongoing Full time/part-time Full Time Hours 08:30 3:30 The minimum rate of pay Minimum rate GBP85 per day.
