Our client is currently looking for a Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join their team on a permanent part-time basis (18.5 hours). You will deliver excellent housing management services, engaging with communities and resolving tenancy issues to improve residents lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality housing management, ensuring safe, clean, and welcoming neighbourhoods.
- Spend 80% of your time in neighbourhoods, managing inspections, tenancy checks, and property maintenance.
- Address anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches, creating action plans as needed.
- Collaborate with internal and external agencies for customer support and safeguarding.
- Maintain records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Work with stakeholders to develop neighbourhood action plans and local investments.
- Experience in a housing-related customer service role.
- Strong problem-solving, complaint management, and de-escalation skills.
- Knowledge of anti-social behaviour handling and tenancy obligations.
- Ability to manage diverse customer needs with empathy and professionalism.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Full UK driving license and use of a car for work purposes.
