We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and empathetic individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of these students.Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative Teaching: Adopt relevant strategies to support the work of the teacher and enhance the achievement of all students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Inclusive Learning: Promote and facilitate inclusion by encouraging the participation of all students in learning activities.
- Classroom Support: Assist class teachers in maintaining good order and discipline amongst students.
- Resource Management: Organise and manage the teaching space, developing resources to create a stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Student Assessment: Observe and assess student performance, providing valuable feedback to teachers.
- Small Group Instruction: Lead small group and one-on-one teaching sessions, and cover classes as needed under supervision.
- Home Engagement: Support pupils with integration into a Hub by delivering engagement sessions in their homes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with students with SEN in the UK.
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
- A proactive and caring attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in planning and delivering lessons.
