Role Overview:- Support the learning and address the social and emotional needs of students alongside the class teacher.
- Inspire trust and confidence among students.
- Engage and motivate pupils with autism, adapting teaching methods to meet their diverse needs.
- Foster a team-oriented environment and contribute to team commitments.
- Be a flexible, reflective, and self-evaluating practitioner, continually seeking ways to improve.
- Take proactive steps to enhance the quality of learning throughout the educational setting.
- Experience in an educational setting, preferably with special needs education.
- Ability to relate effectively with children and young people from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent verbal communication skills for effective interaction with students and staff.
- Committed to professional development and self-evaluation.
- Subject to an enhanced DBS check.
