Day-to-day of the role:- Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored support, using your expertise in behaviour management and trauma-informed practices.
- Play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with special educational needs.
- Create a safe and empowering environment for pupils, focusing on safeguarding and preventing avoidable harm.
- Previous experience in a similar SEN Teaching Assistant role or a transferable position.
- Confidence and a proactive approach to supporting children with special needs.
- Behaviour training and trauma training.
- Safeguarding knowledge to prevent avoidable harm.
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
