Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to students with Autism and PMLD, utilising Intensive Interaction techniques to enhance communication and learning.
  • Engage in the development and implementation of personalised educational plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the educational and emotional development of each student.
  • Regularly assess student progress and adapt strategies to maximise learning outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to ensure the highest standards of support are maintained.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, supporting children with Autism and PMLD.
  • Familiarity with Intensive Interaction techniques and a strong desire to support children with special educational needs.
  • Must possess a current DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • Confidence and dedication to go above and beyond in supporting the unique needs of each child.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team.
