Day-to-Day of the Role:- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to students with Autism and PMLD, utilising Intensive Interaction techniques to enhance communication and learning.
- Engage in the development and implementation of personalised educational plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the educational and emotional development of each student.
- Regularly assess student progress and adapt strategies to maximise learning outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to ensure the highest standards of support are maintained.
- Proven experience in a similar role, supporting children with Autism and PMLD.
- Familiarity with Intensive Interaction techniques and a strong desire to support children with special educational needs.
- Must possess a current DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Confidence and dedication to go above and beyond in supporting the unique needs of each child.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team.
