Job Description:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored educational programs to meet the individual needs of students with a range of special educational needs. Your role will include:
- Developing and implementing individualisedlearning plans.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborating with support staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
- Monitoring and assessing students' progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
- Providing support and guidance to teaching assistants and other classroom staff.
- Promoting social and emotional development through engaging and innovative teaching practices.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs.
- Strong knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.
- A DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one.
