Senior Accountant

Bennett and Game has the pleasure of working with a well-established Chartered Accountancy Practice located in Huddersfield who are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant on a full time, permanent basis. The successful Accounts Senior will ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified/ part qualified with relevant experience working within an Accountancy Practice.

With this role, the successful Senior Accountant will be given excellent opportunities to progress within their knowledge and career while working with a supportive team

• Preparation of accounts for clients
• Preparation of personal tax returns
• Preparation of corporation tax returns
• Training and mentoring junior members of staff
• Being the first point of contact for clients and answering any queries they may have

• Relevant experience within an Accountancy Practice previously
• Experience dealing with high turnover clients
• Knowledge of corporate and personal tax is preferred

Salary 33,000 - 40,000

Hours 37.5 hours per week (flexible start and finish times)

Annual leave 24 days + bank holidays
