Stafflex Education partners with primary schools and private day nurseries across Huddersfield. With the winter term upon us, we are looking for experienced, adaptable, and resourceful Nursery Nurse Assistants to join our supply team for temporary, ongoing opportunities.

Your RoleAs a Nursery Nurse Assistant, you will:

  • Engage with children to create a fun, safe, and stimulating environment.
  • Supervise and support children's play, activities, and learning.
  • Observe, track, and reflect on children's learning and development.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers.
  • Assist with cleaning and care duties, including nappy changing, potty training, and bottle feeding.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding policies and procedures are always followed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment daily.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Recent experience working in a nursery setting.
  • A Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification (e.g., CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • The ability to adapt to the diverse needs and personalities of children in your care.
  • A genuine passion for childcare and working with young children.
