Technical Sales Engineer
Salary: £27,000 - 30,000.00 per Year (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm, 40 hours per week
Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our client's effective and productive team. Our client is a well-established, market-leading manufacturer specialising in providing tailored solutions to meet client's specific needs. They have supported some of the world's biggest companies in the oil and gas, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries.

In this role, you will work closely with both the sales and engineering teams to identify opportunities, craft customised solutions, and ensure successful implementation for customers.

We are seeking a motivated individual with a background in Mechanical Engineering and industrial sales experience.

Key responsibilities:

Act as technical expert to understand and communicate tailored solutions manufactured and produced.

Build and maintain strong relationship with a range of clients, from prospects to existing clients.
Consult and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
Prepare technical bids, presentations and demos with engineering teams.

Address customer feedback and refine solutions where necessary.
Monitor market activity and provide insight to enhance product offering.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Key Competencies:

Strong technical knowledge or experience in a mechanical engineering environment.
Ambitious and self-motivated personality.
Positive team player with an excellent inter-personal skills.
Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing technical role.
