**Fabricator / Welder**

Location: Huddersfield
Rate: £17.00p/h-£21.00p/h DOE + Holidays / Hol Pay

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Fabrication Engineer to join our Fabrication Team. You’ll play a key role in manufacturing high-quality products, ensuring production meets company standards and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and finish products to company specifications.
  • Ensure timely completion of work within project schedules.
  • Coordinate and prioritize parts for production.
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives for cost efficiency.
  • Participate in design-to-manufacture meetings to optimize processes.
  • Contribute to QA procedures and support R&D projects.
  • Maintain effective communication across teams.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong TIG welding skills, ideally working towards coded welding.
  • Recognized apprenticeship/qualification in sheet metal work or fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Self-motivated with strong planning and teamwork skills.
  • Awareness of equality and health & safety regulations.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with thin-gauge stainless steel.
  • Background in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Willingness to do site work when required.
