Alecto Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder with experience in HGV body fabrication. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for building new truck bodies, fitting lorry loader cranes, carrying out chassis alterations, and refurbishing vehicle bodies.
If you have a passion for fabrication, take pride in your work, and have experience with mid to heavy weight fabrication and MIG welding, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Package:
* 15 - 16 p/h
* Overtime at time and a half
Duties:
* Fabricate and assemble HGV components using various welding techniques
* Work with a range of raw materials to produce high-quality components
* Ensure all parts are properly fitted, aligned, and meet specifications
* Maintain high quality control standards throughout the process
* Adhere to safety and assembly guidelines
* Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and targets
Qualifications and Skills:
* Extensive mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience
* Strong understanding of health and safety standards
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience with HGV vehicles (7.5 tonne upwards)
* HGV License (preferred but not essential)
* Well-organized, proactive, and able to multitask
* Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
