Salary:

45,165.12 to 50,144.64, dependent upon experience.



Shift Pattern:

Continental Shift Pattern (12-hour shifts, 2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical faults quickly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Lead to communicate downtime details and solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Ensure a smooth transfer between shifts with comprehensive written and verbal communication.
  • Follow a clean as you go work ethic and maintain a well-organised work-space.
  • Conduct routine maintenance as per the Preventative Maintenance Plan (PPM).
  • Install new equipment as required.


What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Mechanical Maintenance Fitter time served or City & Guilds Level 3 equivalent
  • Experience fault finding, repair, and general machinery maintenance
  • Knowledge of Hydraulics, pneumatics. MIG/TIG Welding and Arc Welding
  • Proactive problem solving approach
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety procedures in an engineering environment
