C&I Engineer – West Yorkshire – Contract – 6 months rolling – OUTSIDE IR35 - £50-60hr – Hybrid/Some home working
Samuel Frank Associates is recruiting for a contract C&I Engineer to join a growing West Yorkshire based engineering business.
Key aspects of the C&I Engineer role include;
- Awareness of national and international standards for explosive atmospheres – must have ATEX experience
- Able to specify and select industrial instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level, weight, pH) and valves/ valve actuators.
- Must have SIL (Safety Integrity Level) experience
- The first 4 weeks will be office based in West Yorkshire and that after that, hybrid / home working is an option
- Ongoing project work in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors
- Produce instrument and valve specifications
- Experience in all commonly used Microsoft software (Word, Excel etc) and ideally AutoCAD 2D (AutoCAD Electrical nice to have)
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Role will be office based in West Yorkshire initially with some trips to site. When the successful C&I Engineer is up to speed, expect a couple of site visits per month and then the odd week away when commissioning.
The client’s premises are ideally located and are commutable from Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax and Barnsley with good links to the M1 and M62.
