This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant seeking their first move into industry, offering the chance to make a real impact from day one and work closely with our senior leadership team, reporting directly to the Board.

The Role:

We are looking for a proactive and ambitious accountant who is ready to step out of practice and into an industry role where they can contribute strategically and operationally. Leading our clients finance team, you will play a key role in driving financial insight and supporting decision-making across the group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and presenting financial insights to the Board
  • Supporting the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts
  • Conducting variance analysis and providing recommendations to improve financial performance
  • Liaising with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with statutory requirements
  • Managing cash flow, working capital, and overseeing group treasury activities
  • Developing financial models to support investment and growth strategies
  • Assisting with the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems
  • Supporting ad-hoc projects and financial analysis as required by the Board

About You:


We're looking for a commercially-minded accountant with:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, with an eye for detail
  • A background in audit, accounting, or advisory services within a practice environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present financial data and insights to senior stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 and Excel
  • Ambition and the ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A desire to add value and grow within an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment


Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
