Role Responsibilities- Leading audit engagements from planning to completion, working with a range of businesses across different sectors
- Reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with UK regulations
- Conducting audit fieldwork, including testing controls, analysing financial data, and identifying risks
- Managing client relationships, acting as a key point of contact and providing proactive advice
- Reviewing audit work completed by junior team members and providing feedback
- Assisting with corporate and personal tax computations as part of year-end procedures
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members, helping them develop their technical skills
- Keeping up to date with audit regulations, accounting standards, and industry developments

Candidate Requirements- ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearly qualified with significant audit experience
- Experience working in audit within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical expertise in audit, accounting, and financial reporting
- Excellent client management and communication skills, with a commercial mindset
- Ability to lead audits, supervise teams, and mentor junior staff
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- Experience using audit and accounting software, such as CaseWare, Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
- A proactive and professional approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality work
- £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
- Full time, permanent role
