- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reporting, including detailed board pack and commentary
- Develop, support and lead a small finance team
- Budgets, forecasting and financial planning
- Manage compliance with statutory reporting requirements, bank covenants and manage annual audit
- Partner the senior leadership team, evaluate financial models, provide insight to support decision making and make commercial recommendations
- Cashflow management and forecasting
- Lead the implementation of a new ERP system
- Review and develop internal controls, reporting, processes, and procedures
- Oversee stock management, controls and reporting, including implementation of an improved stock management system
- Support with acquisitions, due diligence and integration of businesses into the group reporting
- Work closely with the Directors on financial strategy and corporate planning
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified with proven experience in a similar role
- Strong technically accounting knowledge and experience
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance and audit
- Ability to embrace and drive change, with a continuous improvement mentality
- Proactive and driven individual, who wants to add value and be part of an exciting future
- Experience dealing with investors and board level directors
- Confidence to challenge other business stakeholders and not accept the status quo
- Private equity, acquisition or due diligence experience is an advantage but not essential
