General Description:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for specified business.
  • Responsible for completing monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations - collaborating with allstakeholders to make sure aware of all items.
  • Be aware of all transactional inputs into the business unit - i.e.. working with Sales and Purchaseledger personnel to ensure accuracy of entries.
  • Monitor / be aware of Sales Invoicing and Credit Control to ensure no issues in the business unit from timely sales invoicing and cash collections.
  • Ensure timely filing and payments of all taxes.
  • Work with third party advisors where applicable (usually overseas) to ensure compliance and to prepare annual financial statements and tax returns.
  • Be the primary contact during year end Audit.
  • Create relationships with Operational/Commercial counterparts.
  • Support pricing.
  • Positive contributions to the day to day running of the business unit.
  • Continuously review and update finance procedures to ensure optimum performance.
  • Other projects as requested by the Senior Finance team.

Requirements:

  • Qualified / Part Qualified considered
  • Min 3 years experience
  • Good I.T skills particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business.
