Description
- Oversee all payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Identify areas that require improvement and efficiency and implementing these changes.
- Manage and guide the payroll team towards achieving set objectives.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
- Handle payroll queries and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline payroll processes.
- Manage monthly payroll reconciliations and audits.
- Provide payroll reports to management for decision-making.
- Keep abreast of payroll tax laws and regulations.
Profile
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
- A strong background in Accounting & Finance.
- Proven experience in a role of this nature or Payroll Specialist position.
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems - ideally Itrent.
- Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Job Offer
Salary up to 35,000 per annum equivalent + 6 month fixed term role + immediate start + hybrid working (1-2 days in the office) + accessible Hull location + excellent staff benefits + potential for this contract to be extended.
