• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Supporting the completion of personal and corporate tax returns while ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
• Engaging directly with clients from a range of industries, answering queries, and offering proactive financial advice
• Collaborating with senior accountants to deliver business advisory and consultancy services
• Contributing to audits and supporting senior team members with compliance and regulatory reporting
• Keeping up to date with changes in accounting standards and tax legislation to provide the best advice to clients

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA, or AAT qualified with a desire to progress further
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Xero is advantageous
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

• £28,000 to £38,000 per annum
