Reporting to the Finance Director, you will support with processing and generating the accounts for a number of the group companies.Working within a finance team of 4, you will be processing all transactions, both external and intercompany, putting together a trial balance, reconciling the bank accounts and processing the VAT returns. The role involves high value and low volume transaction processing and is more around reconciliation and understanding the monthly accounts.This is an ideal role for an experienced assistant accountant looking for a role to get stuck into and offer support to the Finance Director.The role is three days a week, within a friendly team, based in modern offices with free parking. The successful candidate will have recent and relevant experience of bookkeeping to trial balance, intercompany transactions, VAT returns and reconciliation and reporting. Working knowledge of Sage would be an advantage, but not essential.
