We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Hull for an administrator. This is a temporary to permanent position working Monday to Thursday 08.30 - 17.00 and paying £13 per hour.
General duties include;
- Attending to incoming telephone queries
- Monitoring and responding to email mailbox
- Handling of all supplier queries
- Data entry
- Maintaining up-to-date records.
- Support team members with administrative tasks as needed
In order to be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate;
- Proven experience in an office administration role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in data entry with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective communication and workflow
- Support the team with administrative tasks such as updating paperwork and records
- A team player but able to use their own initiative as and when necessary
- Numerate, with good verbal reasoning skills
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
