Our client is looking for a Business Support Administrator to join their team. You will provide efficient support to services dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health. We are looking for an individual who is proactive with a can-do attitude to join the team, providing administrative and operational support to the extra care service.

As a Business Support Administrator your duties will include;

  • Support with confidential meetings such as grievances, complaints investigation and disciplinary meetings
  • Booking of rooms/venues and distribution of agendas and minutes.
  • Maintaining spreadsheets of all staff in post against commissioned hours at each site.
  • Overall responsibility for the work required on the Local Authority CM system, ensuring all calls are delivered in a timely manner and invoiced for accurately
  • Supporting the Senior Support Staff to ensure that our electronic rostering system is accurate and sufficiently meets the needs of our tenants
  • Monitoring agency expenditure against local and national KPI’s.
  • To organise the approval of timesheets, overtime and expense claims for employees.
  • Monitoring annual leave for all staff and ensuring it is taken in time
  • Assist the Management Team in organising shift cover and ensuring staff are effectively deployed to meet service user’s needs.
  • Work alongside the Manager and Team in respect of all recruitment and advertising of current opportunities at the service
  • Pre-screening shortlisted applications and inviting candidates in for interviews

As a Business Support Administrator the key skills required include;

  • Proven experience in administrative roles (experience in care is highly desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence in addressing and escalating issues as needed.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • A proactive, flexible, and team-focused approach.

This role is an immediate start. It will be starting on a temporary basis with the right candidate having the potential to go permanent.
