My client is looking for a Tekla Detailer to join their team near Hull. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside the Structural Engineer and Technical Lead on a range of projects, focusing on the design, fabrication, and erection of glasshouses and associated fit-out items.
The selected candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality design, fabrication, and erection drawings using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing detailed 3D models and drawings for steel structures, including glasshouses and fit-out components
- Preparing fabrication and erection drawings to industry standards
- Collaborating with the Structural Engineer and Technical Lead to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Generating Bills of Materials and other documentation required for manufacturing and site installation
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tekla Detailer within the steel industry
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of steel detailing, fabrication, and erection processes
- Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
