My client based in Hull are recruiting for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their growing and adaptable firm on a Part Time basis. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail with an enthusiastic approach.
Duties of Part Time Legal Cashier:
- Allocate bank receipts and manage CHAPS, BACS, and Faster Payments
- Process financial transactions and perform daily bank reconciliations
- Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliations for accounts and control balances
- Generate and analyse client balance and disbursement reports, resolving discrepancies
- Handle employee expenses, cheque processing, and daily banking of cash/cheques
- Manage purchase invoices, ensuring approval and timely payment
- Archive files, process Legal Aid funds, and handle court statements
- Report and record breaches of SRA Accounts Rules
- Address client interest on held funds as per regulations
- Support company mission and values in all tasks
