If you enjoy a challenge and want to make a real impact, this role is for you.My client are looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Manager/Team Leader to join our team, where you'll play a key role in improving maintenance and engineering standards across our site.Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 3 engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
PPM System Improvement: Drive the development and enhancement of our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system, ensuring it's fit for purpose and efficient.
Work Planning: Help plan and coordinate daily and weekly tasks for the maintenance team, ensuring smooth execution of scheduled work and addressing any breakdowns.
Contractor Management: Manage relationships with external contractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
Spare Parts System: Implement and maintain an organised spare parts system, ensuring critical components are available to reduce downtime.
Project Involvement: Participate in and lead projects aimed at improving efficiency, updating legacy systems, and integrating new equipment into the production process.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Senior Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing small teams.
Must be multi-skilled
Hands-on approach, with a passion for improving systems and processes.
Experience with PPM systems, spare parts management, and contractor coordination.
Strong organisational and planning abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities.
Must have contractor control and compliance experience

Salary & Benefits:

Competitive salary of £48,000 - £55,000, depending on experience.
