- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 3 engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- PPM System Improvement: Drive the development and enhancement of our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system, ensuring it's fit for purpose and efficient.
- Work Planning: Help plan and coordinate daily and weekly tasks for the maintenance team, ensuring smooth execution of scheduled work and addressing any breakdowns.
- Contractor Management: Manage relationships with external contractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
- Spare Parts System: Implement and maintain an organised spare parts system, ensuring critical components are available to reduce downtime.
- Project Involvement: Participate in and lead projects aimed at improving efficiency, updating legacy systems, and integrating new equipment into the production process.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Senior Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing small teams.
- Must be multi-skilled
- Hands-on approach, with a passion for improving systems and processes.
- Experience with PPM systems, spare parts management, and contractor coordination.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Must have contractor control and compliance experience
- Competitive salary of £48,000 - £55,000, depending on experience.
