Hourly Rate: 13 per hour
Shifts: Rotating - 6am to 2pm and 10am to 6pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving Goods: Unload, inspect, and report discrepancies.
- Storing Goods: Organise and safely store items, manage inventory.
- Picking & Packing Orders: Select, pack, and label items for shipping.
- Dispatching Goods: Load trucks, complete documentation, coordinate with drivers.
- Inventory Management: Conduct stock counts, update records, report shortages.
- General Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, maintain equipment, follow safety regulations.
- Operating Reach Trucks: Move goods, retrieve and store items on high shelves.
- Material Handling: Safely lift and transport heavy items.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently stack and organise pallets.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct pre-operation checks, follow safety protocols, report hazards.
- Assisting with Other Duties: Support general warehouse tasks, collaborate with team members.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Proficient in operating reach trucks and inventory systems.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, endure long periods of standing and walking.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate inventory management, careful handling of goods.
- Teamwork: Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety regulations, commitment to a safe work environment.
