Job Title: Analytical Chemist

SRG is currently working with a global specialty pharmaceutical company that is dedicated to transforming addiction from a global human crisis to a recognised and treated chronic disease.

As a result of expansion, we are looking for an analytical chemist who will be working in the GMP analytical team, helping develop exciting new and existing projects in the field of addiction therapy. You will have the opportunity to branch out into several other teams, supporting the company's rapid growth.

We are looking for candidates with good knowledge of analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, dissolution, and general wet chemistry analytical tests. You will also need to have worked to Pharmaceutical GMP.

Typical responsibilities/accountabilities:

  • Carry out analysis using technologies such as HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, dissolution, and mass spectrometry.
  • Provide Analytical Development support to cross-functional teams
  • Perform analytical testing to maintain the qualification status of reference standards.
  • Learn and perform method development, method validation, process development and verification testing on drug substances

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a life science subject. Apprentice graduates welcome.
  • Good working knowledge of HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, dissolution, and mass spectrometry.
  • A solid understanding on analytical chemistry
  • Have previously worked to GMP
