Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

  • Generate and identify leads within the Construction industry.
  • Build and nurture client relationships, understanding their business needs and challenges.
  • Deliver tailored sales presentations and software demonstrations.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Provide ongoing account management and explore opportunities for growth within existing client relationships.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings.

Requirements of the Business Development Manager:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in software sales (SaaS) within the construction or related sector
  • A BA degree in Construction Management would be preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction management software, project management tools, or ERP systems.
  • A proven new business hunter with the hunger and tenacity to succeed in a fast-paced sales role.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, with excellent time management and CRM system experience.
