Grafton Recruitment is looking for experienced Technical Sales Manager to join a leader in processing and refining technologies. In this role you will be responsible for managing the technical sales aspect across various segments and product lines, while supporting the overall sales process with innovative technology solutions.

THE ROLE:

Some of your responsibilities as a Technical Sales Manager:

  • You will collaborate closely with a diverse team, helping growth initiatives and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Providing training on specific technologies and product lines.
  • Design and manage sales tool-kits, including sizing programs and sales presentations.
  • Supporting technology discussions to facilitate effective deal closures.
  • Resolving customer issues related to products and services as necessary.
  • Identifying and advising clients on available technology or service solutions.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Developing a multiple channels of communication within client organisations, focusing on engineering and operations.
  • Meeting with customers and identified markets the company serve.
  • Conducting customer assessments to align technology with engineering standards and strategic account planning.
  • Create testing protocol for customers.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience in the industrial processing or refining sector.
  • Proven experience in sales support.
  • Strong technology advocacy with a customer-centric approach.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with ChemCad or Aspen will be beneficial.
