Customer Operations Advisor - Hull

8:30am - 5pm Monday - Thursday, 8:00am to 3pm Friday (37.5 hours)

Temporary to Permanent

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • This role is a 50% stores-based role and a 50% admin role, working in a team of 4
  • Stock management and ordering
  • Expediting and maintaining order books - checking upcoming orders, chasing delivery times
  • Ordering stock based on customer requirements
  • Raising purchase orders (PO's) on customers' behalf
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and stock movements on ERIKS and customer systems
  • Contacting suppliers - replenishing stock by placing orders to purchase (Tends to be internal via warehouse)
  • Resolving purchasing and supplier invoice queries
  • Housekeeping stores and office area maintain 5s principles
  • Proactive approach to stock ordering (e.g. checking empty bins, using initiative to pre-empt and action necessary orders)
  • Liaising with engineers for missing details and non-stocked parts for further information

The Successful Candidate

  • Previous experience in an administrator role
  • A familiarity with inventory management
  • IT skills - professional email correspondence and use of MS Office for data entry - able to adapt to ERP systems on-site
  • Previous experience with stores/warehouses (Desirable)
