Invision Recruitment are partnered witha leading Contractor with projects in UK, Ireland, Mainland Europe, USA and Canada. They specialise within Data Centres, Advanced Manufacturing, and Pharmaceuticals.

Currently, we are seeking a motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. Within this scheme, you will be involved in a large-scale new build warehouse valued over 100m, for a world-renowned fortune 500 company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimise risk in all aspects of your duties, ensuring strict compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrate exceptional technical proficiency and leadership, overseeing the performance and development of the commercial team.
  • Lead the procurement process, ensuring the acquisition of multiple quotations for all domestic work packages to achieve best value and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure the creation of comprehensive and detailed enquiry documentation, covering all aspects of project scope and contractual information for accurate pricing by the supply chain.
  • Oversee the evaluation of supply chain quotations with the site team to ensure all works are fully priced, effectively mitigating financial and construction risks.
  • Supervise the preparation and verification of contract documentation, ensuring compliance with insurance, bond, and warranty requirements, and securing executed contracts before work commencement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to cascade main contract requirements to the supply chain, ensuring all necessary warranties and subcontracts are in place prior to site work initiation.
  • Oversee the compilation and review of interim valuations and variations, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and providing detailed information for client assessment.
  • Monitor outstanding sales invoices, coordinating with accounts and client representatives to ensure timely debt settlement and maintaining a balanced cash flow.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise commercial performance and financial outcomes across projects.
  • Provide senior managers, team leaders, and directors with financial insights to assist in the preparation of pre-qualification submissions, management accounts, and business plan reviews.
  • Ensure the site team has access to sufficient commercial information to perform their duties effectively.
