As Commercial Manager you will play a key role in managing all pre and post contract commercial aspects of projects, ensuring successful commercial outcomes.

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for: 

  • Supporting tender processed for new projects
  • Client contract negotiations, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Identifying contract risks and developing mitigation strategies
  • Developing and managing project budgets including accurate forecasting
  • Acting as the primary commercial contact for clients
  • Developing and maintaining key relations with a range of clients

The Commercial Manager will need: 

  • Previous experience in a QS role
  • Experience of managing or coaching other QS staff
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and people skills
