CNC Turner

CNC Turner required to join a well-established dynamic and reputable engineering company based in Hull that specialize in precision engineering. They are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Turner to join their team and assist with the Programming Setting and Operating of XYZ CNC Lathes.

• Operate and set CNC lathes to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Program CNC machines
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure components meet required tolerances.
• Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Monitor the machining process to ensure optimal performance and resolve issues as needed.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure smooth operation.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines in the workshop environment.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

• Previous experience as a CNC Turner or similar role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.
• Understanding of CNC programming and operations
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Full time - Permanent
• Monday - Friday 37 hour week
• Salary - 16 - 18 per hour depending on skills an experience
