Team Leader needed

Sure Staffing UK Ltd are looking to recruit Team Leader, for our client based in Hull, HU9 area. Our client specialises in contract manufacturing, filling, and packing solutions for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and healthcare products.

Ideal candidate for a Team Leader role will have:

• Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role within a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
• Knowledge of contract manufacturing, filling, and packing processes is highly desirable.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or healthcare product regulations (GMP, ISO, MHRA compliance).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines and targets.
• IT skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to leading a team.

Responsibilities and Duties of a Team Leader

• Lead and supervise a team in production and warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output.
• Oversee the filling, packing, and manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations (GMP, ISO standards, and health & safety).
• Monitor and allocate workload, ensuring production targets and deadlines are met.
• Train, coach, and support team members to improve productivity and maintain high performance.
• Conduct quality checks, ensuring products meet company and client specifications.
• Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and workplace safety standards.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Control, Logistics, and Planning, to maintain smooth operations.
• Identify and resolve production or warehouse issues, reporting any concerns to senior management.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, stock levels, and any operational challenges.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and efficiency.

Shift times for a Team Leader:

• DAY SHIFT
• Monday to Friday
• 6am-3pm

Pay Rates for Team Leader:

• 14-15/hour (epending on experience)
