We are working on an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager to join a leading Main Contractor supporting on a key project in Hull. This position would suit a candidate with a strong construction background who is looking to join a business they can develop and grow with. There would be an expectation that you may need to travel to further projects when required also.

The role:

• Work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and deliver the health & safety strategy
• Build relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation monitoring and reviewing health & safety trends within the division to identify areas of improvement
• Develop and improve Health & Safety culture across the organisation
• Liaise with site teams and build strong relationships
• Managing 3rd party building strong relationships Support on incident and accident investigation when required and lessons learnt

The candidate:

• 5 years + experience working in Health & Safety 
• Previous experience working in a managerial position and have been responsible for development and growth would be beneficial
• Experience in the construction industry
